生产方法
1. 由3,5-二乙氧甲酰基-4-甲基环戊-1,2-二酮进行烷基化后，生成的3,5-二乙酯基-3,4-二甲基环戊-1,2-二酮水解，脱羧而得到。
用途
GB 2760-98规定为允许使用的食品用香料。主要用于配制甘草等香辛料香精。用于烘烤食品、冰冻乳制品、坚果类食品。
