生产方法
1.用冰醋酸加热溶解亚氨基二乙酸钠后，冷却至15～20℃，搅拌8h，再加入甲醛、百里香酚酞，加热升温至65～70℃，搅拌至溶液逐渐透明，继续搅拌4～6h，反应为：
反应结束后，冷却至室温，滤去不溶物，边搅拌边将滤液倒入过滤好的工业丙酮中， 析出的结晶用水完全溶解， 滤去不溶物， 滤液再用工业丙酮析出结晶，结晶用热冰醋酸溶解后，加丙酮析出，所得结晶于真空干燥粉碎，即为成品。

用途

用作光度法测定钙、镁、锶和钡等金属离子的显色剂。用作配合滴定法测定钡、钙和锰等的金属指示剂。
